Who We Are

Founded in 1982, the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated and purchased foods through a network of more than 200 Partner Agencies in 13 counties. NTFB service area includes: Dallas, Denton, Collin, Fannin, Rockwall, Hunt, Grayson, Kaufman, Ellis, Navarro, Lamar, Delta, and Hopkins.

The Nutrition and Garden Team enables and empowers people to make healthy choices through addressing barriers to healthy eating. We support the mission to Nourish North Texas through our educational programs and our focus on nutritious foods.

NTFB's Vision

A hunger-free, healthy North Texas.

NTFB's Mission

To close the hunger gap in North Texas by providing access to nutritious food.

NTFB's Effectiveness

Every dollar donated to NTFB provides access to three healthy meals for hungry North Texans, and 95 percent of our resources go directly to hunger relief programs.

What We Do

Join the fight against hunger by teaching a Cooking Matters class or translating nutrition workshops and/or materials.
