Volunteer: Help Prepare and Distribute Family Food BoxesCome join us Tuesday morning as we prepare family food boxes for distribution to 300+ families in need in our community. You may be bagging produce or meat, and/or creating a box of staples for each family. Once the boxes are prepared, help load those boxes into the families' vehicle. Expect a lot of repetitive standing, bending and lifting (20-25 pounds). Most of the work is performed outdoors so volunteers should come dressed in weather appropriate clothing and closed toe shoes (no flip flops or sandals).
