Who We Are
Founded in 1982, the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated and purchased foods through a network of more than 200 Partner Agencies in 13 counties. NTFB service area includes: Dallas, Denton, Collin, Fannin, Rockwall, Hunt, Grayson, Kaufman, Ellis, Navarro, Lamar, Delta, and Hopkins.

Our Mission
To close the hunger gap in North Texas by providing access to nutritious food.
Our Effectiveness
Every dollar donated to NTFB provides access to three healthy meals for hungry North Texans, and 95 percent of our resources go directly to hunger relief programs.
What We Do
Special events raise funds, collect food, or bring awareness about hunger in our community. Some special events are in collaboration with partners or NTFB's signature events like:
- Empty Bowls
- Taste of the Cowboys
- Harvest
- Canned Food Drive at the State Fair of Texas
- Dallas Holiday Parade
